About Me

BACKGROUND & PERSPECTIVE
Understanding Organizations from the Inside
My background sits at the intersection of people, systems, and organizational life. Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across finance, technology, human resources, and leadership — in environments where complexity, competing priorities, and high expectations were the norm. I’ve held broad portfolios spanning systems, people, and operations, which gave me a front-row view into both the structural and human sides of how organizations function.
A significant part of that work involved systems implementation and organizational change. I saw how even well-designed solutions could struggle — not because they were flawed, but because the underlying dynamics within teams hadn’t been fully addressed. The solution was sound. The adoption wasn’t. And the difference almost always came down to the human layer.

THE HUMAN LAYER
Over time, my focus moved toward that deeper layer.
Hi, I'm Charmaine Kissmann. I became increasingly curious about the deeper patterns shaping decisions, behaviors, and recurring tensions. That curiosity led me to expand my work into coaching and human development, not as a departure from my background, but as a natural extension of it.
Today, I work with individuals and organizations navigating change, complexity, and growth. My role is to help uncover what’s really going on beneath the surface so that decisions become more grounded, actions more aligned, and progress more sustainable over time.
Throughout my career, I balanced professional growth with personal commitments, completing both my CPA designation and MBA while working full-time and raising a family. That experience shaped not only my discipline, but my understanding of what it truly takes to move forward when the demands are real and the stakes are personal.

My Values
01
Understanding
We don't start with answers, we start with the right questions. Real change requires knowing what's actually driving the situation, not just what's visible on the surface.
02
Honesty
We engage with what's really there, even when it's uncomfortable to look at. That kind of honesty is what makes the work meaningful — and the outcomes real.
03
Sustainability
Progress that doesn't hold isn't really progress. Everything here is built toward change that lasts, not short-term relief that leaves the same patterns intact.
